Oh God, You are a fortress strong: Protector and Defender!
Your truth exposes what is wrong, and helps us to surrender.
For Satan and his clan will kill us if they can!
He’ll pierce us with his darts if You don’t win our hearts.
We cannot stand against him.

You promise strength to win the fight as we surrender to You.
You proved that all You say is right: You’ve always spoken what is true.
You ask us how we know? Christ Jesus showed us so!
We know You now since He revealed You perfectly!
His truth has won the battle.

Your Word roots out the evil seed: It stays no matter what is done.
Your Spirit gives us all we need to prosper in this race we run.
For heaven’s gifts are worth much more than this old earth!
Death cannot have its say when You are in the way.
Your kingdom is forever!
